Who We Are?
Our Mission
The Cassia County Museum focuses on the history in the Cassia area. We have many displays, train cars, WW II Memorabilia, farm equipment and much more.
By protecting and preserving the history of Cassia County, the museum bridges the divide between past and present through displays, exhibits, and education. When we respect the past we educate the future.

Events
Every year, the Cassia County Historical Museum hosts 4th Grade Day, a special educational event where local students explore Idaho’s rich history firsthand. As part of their Idaho History curriculum, students engage with interactive exhibits, including a 19th-century Passenger train car, WWII artifacts, historic farm equipment, and a pioneer schoolhouse cabin. Museum workers and volunteers provide guided tours, hands-on activities, and storytelling sessions that bring the past to life. This event fosters a deeper appreciation for local heritage and encourages young learners to connect with the history of their community.
