MUSEUM DATES FOR 2025 COMING SOON!

 Winter Hours Start Tuesday October 15th. We will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays from 10:00am to 5:00pm through the middle of April.
However, days and times are subject to change so please call ahead at 208-678-7172.  

 The Museum will be closed November 28th and 29th Thanksgiving week.

The Cassia County Story

Cassia County is located along the Snake River in South Central Idaho. It is the 8th largest in area, covering 2,557 Square miles. Cassia County was created in 1872 and included parts of Twin Falls and Power counties. Burley has been the county seat since 1918 when it was moved from Albion. Within its borders is a variety of elevations. The highest peak is Cache Peak with an elevation of 10,339 feet. The seven towns in Cassia County are, Burley, Declo, Albion, Oakley, Malta, Almo and Elba.
